Don't know what's going on but they are flying low! Everyone has search lights on. I don't think FFX county has a scanner app to hear anything. Does anyone know what happened?

Missing elderly woman was found dead by a local pond. News helicopters on the scene now. FFX county police Twitter feed confirmed.

Wish they would take advantage of the emergency phone alerts more frequently.  Heard helo doing a search over my house several months ago.  No clue what was up.  Nothing on their twitter or any other place I checked that night.

Found out the next day that one of my neighbors had a break-in while their dwelling was occupied.  Young teen was the only one home at the time and came face-to-face with intruder, who then ran off into the night.  Yeah, no need to let folks in the area know.  Especially since they did not catch him.

As typical bureaucrats they have to conduct an instigation before they can make even the simplest conclusion.

Maybe the guy wandered into the wrong house while drunk.
As if that would really matter.
