Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - FFL type question, changeing firearm before 10 day wait?

If I was to buy a rifle and right before the ten day wait is up I decieded to upgrade into a better rifle. Would I have to do a new 10 day wait? Or would it matter since Ive already started the DROS check?

i believe a new one must be started since a new dros would need to be submitted for a different firearm.

but there is no firearm that is submitted to the DROS. There is no specific information about it. Not like a handgun. This is why im curious about it.
