I will be there. Been looking forward to it for weeks. I have finally talked a friend into checking it out.

I think I'll have the guy I brought last month, and his GF.

I believe you folks ought to check the timing and projected path of hurricane Jeanne. Either that or check your ballistics software for the correction factor for 110MPH crosswinds!!!

Good point. Are we still planning on shooting?
Link Posted: 9/24/2004 2:29:21 AM EST
Neither cold, heat, rain, sleet, snow, nor wind will stop me from going, but one pissed off wife could.

Just look at it as a worse case scenario to practice in.

Man, I really wanted to make it out Sunday. Probably still will though.

My wife will shit if the storm is here and I go. The last one knocked the power out for a week, and I left in the middle of it for a fishing/camping trip in NC. For some reason the argument that I had no electricity either cut no ice with her.

saying that, you were asking for trouble...the three things to say when in trouble andf have no way out " Yes dear" "i'm sorry" & the winner "you're right honey"

We'll have to see where the storm goes, I suppose. Should we say that we'll postpone it until next week if the storm hits?

I like the idea of postponing the shoot if the storm hits.

Thing is, the damn thing has been going around in circles for the last week.

Damn. After reading this thread, I realized my wife would kill me if I went shooting during a hurricane. I must say though, she always let me go surfing during them in the past. We have a two year old now so things have probably changed. I guess this a great time to find out.

I'll most likely wind up like this:

Seriously though, I'm planning to be there unless it get really bad. I have a chainsaw, 4X4, GPSr and I'm ready to use them.

So is it on for this coming Sunday?

Sorry, Charlie.
Us real FDCC champions wouldn't let a silly little thing like a hurricane stand in the way.

What Ban?

A man with a Beta C and a registered lower is like a 500 lb gorilla; he can shoulder it any way he wants.
