Family member just called to report baseball sized hail. Apparently windows and roofs are destroyed all over town.

We are good. Just a little north of Jackson and maybe pea sized hail here. Coworkers son had hail through his windows while he was driving!

We are 50 miles south( Collins) and got only wind. No hail, no rain. Weird.

edit: apparently there has been golfball sized hail all around us and to the south. none here.

I took this just as the police were arriving here in Tupelo.

That would be a problem!

That's not how you park a big rig.

One of my co workers live in the north part of Lincoln Co. and said they had so much hail
her front yard looked white.

Some of the pictures on fb looked crazy!

Wife's friend had her front. back, and sunroof glass all shattered on her car.

We didn't get any hail here in Wesson. I was in Brandon today at Van's. There were rollback tow trucks hauling vehicles out of the parking lot. They looked like they had been beaten with baseball bats, windshield caved in, side glass broken out, etc. The roads were solid pine needles from where the hail knocked it off. I have never seen anything like it.

I was there until early this morning at Baptist Hospital...my Father passed away early Tuesday morning.

Thankfully I was parked in the garage. The security guard that walked out with about 4 this morning told his car got smashed.

It was COMING DOWN that day.

Cars beat to hell and back.

I'm sure the body shop guys are thanking Mother Nature again.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I didn't want to make a post in General about it, too painful, but I wanted to mention it in here where I have some friends.

We buried him this afternoon and this is the only place I have been able to speak about it. Typing is easier than speaking.

Sorry for the thread highjack but since I did, if you know anyone that works at Baptist Hospital, tell them that I am grateful to the entire staff there in ICU and PCU. They took incredible care of my father and should be commended.

Thank you, that's appreciated.
If I hadn't been there with him when he passed, this would be much worse for me right now.
