He recently came out of the closet on being a conservative. He has admitted in recent interviews that he never told anyone of his views while working in Hollywood for fear of losing his job. There are quite a few celebrities who are conservative but do not pubically display it because of the way Hollywood would treat them by blackballing their career opportunities.
