Guys,

I am Duracoating all of the metal parts on an old Remington 552.  I ordered "Gun Blue" from Midway USA; the problem is that this shade of blue is more "Smurf blue" than is gun blue.
Do any of you have some leftover black Duracoat that you do not need?  I do not need a lot, just enough to darken the product that I have.

I will make it worth your while.  Any consideration would be appreciated!

Was it all banged up? I wouldn't dream of stripping and coating my speedmaster (Mine is a BDL and all perdy though)

This thing was in poor shape; all of the paint on the
receiver was worn off and the stock was broken at the
pistol grip--luckily it cracked along the grain, so it was
a pretty easy fix. My brother left  it at home when he when he joined
the AF in 1987; my dad had kept it in the barn since then.
Though it seemed to never have never been cleaned, the
bbl and bore had a little surface rust but was not pitted.

My brother doesn't expect a perfectly restored rifle, but I
did want to make it look as good as possible.

Sounds cool, wish I had some black to help with.
