I live in Broomfield and I've been going to Lefthand Canyon in Boulder to shoot but as anyone who goes there can tell you it's a pretty bad place to shoot. It's always crowded, dirty, rocky, ect. I'm looking for a place thats somewhat flat and somewhat nearby, and doesn't attract a ton of people. Now that I've ruled out everywhere, does anyone have any ideas? I'm just not too clear on the exact rules on where you can shoot or how to tell if it's public land or not.

Thanks,
Garrett

If you don't mind driving to the Greeley area, I would drive you up to the Pawnee Grasslands. That is about it.
