Time to put in food plots if you haven't done them already.
Here are four of the five plots on my place. This rain should bring the plants up quick:

I've got two clover patches on the place. One is small but the deer have been hitting it all summer.
The feeder in the picture was empty at the time the pic was taken.

Those look good. Wish I could get something to grow on my places but after 3 years trying, I could barely get anything to come up. I tested and adjusted the soil, fertilized etc. etc. Nothing.

Now I just hunt near wheat.

Whats up Dan the Man!  Some really good looking places there.  Is that the road that you had your tractor stuck in a while back?

Sumo, yep. It's a high line that goes across my place. The original "Crescent Spring" runs across my place all the way to the Cimarron. Water in some place is only 2 ft down. I used a light tractor to work that dirt this time.

Thanks, guys.
Funny how my 30 day lock lasted 60 days.
I learned a lesson here. If someone calls me a MFer or says I have voices in my head, I can't respond.
But you know, I do feel good about one thing.
I know my buddies -JP- and Mack45 will always show up if controversy gets started here on the OK HTF.
Their concern touches me deeply.

Kinda like the burning sensation that comes with the clap?

Just don't give an opinion, and you are fine!  Alway state facts, make only 90 degree turns, walk in a straight line, keep eyes foreward and at horizon level, and lick boots and you won't be banned/locked.

Other than that, it's the same old ARFCOM HTF!

Speaking of train wrecks, I put together 26 minutes of videos (from just 4 days!) on a DVD from that same camera and showed it to my 8 yo niece.
She got all excited about the deer and asked when she could go see them.
I asked her if she wanted to see them before or after I shot them.
She was very unhappy with me.
So was my sister in law, my wife, and my mother in law.
I think they didn't like the fact I upset my niece so much.
Some days you eat the bear, some times it eats you.

Not quite as good as it is to have them gut and skin their own deer.
My son did his first one at 10, with a little help from his dad, of course.
He did get bloody but not quite as bad as his dad.
