Should I or should I not get a C&R license? Looking for the pros and cons past the direct access to some fun stuff. Any nasty surprises that accompany carrying a C&R? Thankshinking.gif |
| That's the biggest arguement against getting the C&R. Am looking at the cost/benefit equation here. Easier access to the kinda stuff I like vs issuing an open invitation to more helpful and reasonable bureaucrats to come visit me. Whaddya suppose the likelihood is that the f troop decides to start paying closer attention to the C&Rs vs the full FFL holders? |
Pretty damn high... As soon as they get all of our Homeland Defence Rifle's, then the Lib's will start sending their goons after those that can just order a " Late Model Sniper Rifle" through the mail and have it go right to their door.

This is what I have found so far with my C&R: You can buy C&R guns from "good guys" (like Marys Pistols) for about the same cost as getting one from a "wholesaler" (AIM Surplus) including shipping. The C&R pickings are getting mighty slim, most of the nice stuff has already gone cheap, and most people are selling at a little under market value. If you buy a few times a year from Brownells the discount is worth the money spent on a C&R. |
