I'm looking for a gunsmith in St. Louis. Preferably one that you have dealt with regularly. I'm hoping to find someone local to pin and weld my 14.5" instead of shipping to ADCO or Rainier. Any suggestions are most welcome.

You could also give Steele Point Guns out in Troy a call...

I've had them do a few tings for me and have always been very happy... Good Folks.

Depending on where you live, closer to Farmington, Try Cedar Falls Tactical. Ben's Crew will get ya squared away too...

Better to call. I know Otto rarely reads the email; Doc answers the phone regularly

I'll be giving them some calls tomorrow morning. I'm in Valley Park so just looking for someone close.

I just had two done at top gun in Arnold. Actually got them back the same day

I didn't know they did that kind of work at Top Gun. Cool.

I usually use C&S for pinning flash hiders and shortening barrels. Otto does my real gunsmithing work though, 1911 type stuff mostly.

We are pretty lucky to have so many good places to get things done in the St Louis area.

Just picked up my pinned and welded barrel from Eric at Helix Gunsmithing. He did a great job and turned everything around super quick. I wouldn't hesitate to bring any of my other guns to him. Prices were quite competitive as well.
