Well, it's official.  On December 17th there will be an ice storm, followed by 14 inches of snow.................

Kick ass! I will try to make it. Have a few things already on the board, but can hopefully work this in!

Will you be offering the .22's for use again?

This is on my calendar for sure!

Similar setup to last time, i.e. targets and round count?  All birdshot on the shotty again or any slug shots?

Bahh, they had someone using 00 on the targets last time, the only effect it had on them was that they were about 10 yards in a mostly random direction from where they started.

Personally I am going to to be running 7.5 again, and will hopefully have a choke in the gun before before I get there this time lol...

Heh, I had already trade the day with someone else because of a family christmas dinner (to many of use work christmas day) and since my sister's S.O. couldn't get off from work the dinner was already pushed back to 1800. The timing was too good to pass up lol

Does CMMG hold these matches monthly or do you have a schedule for 2011 matches?  I need as much time as possible to get off work and make the travel plans.

                                                    Thanks

As I recall they said after the last match that they would start having monthly matches in 2011. But I have yet to see a schedule on their site or on their industry forum.

So how about it CMMG? Can we get a schedule please?

DUDE! Don't worry bout that shit, bring AMMO, bring ENOUGH ammo...
Don't worry about count. Just come and enjoy!
Couple hundred carbine, brick of federal #7 or 7 1/2 value pack shotgun, and a couple hundred handgun should make for a very productive day!

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it unless miraculously I get this damned lung coughed up!
Been home, sick for 3 days now!

Was a lot of fun.  Actually not too cold today.

ETA:  OK, had some time to type a bit more info:  I used my Gen 2 Glock 23, Bushmaster "Shorty AK" AR, and Mossberg 500 Shotgun (7.5 shotshells). There were 4 stages which covered prone, barricade, running between stations. All targets were metal from ~200 yrds out to knock off targets 15 feet away - everything in between.

Was my first 3-gun that I actually participated in. Did OK for a first run at it, but learned and had fun!  I didn't know anyone there (had seen Larry once at Black Rifle), but everyone was very friendly - the ROs were very patient in explaining each stage, which put me at ease.  I'm not in any of these as I was taking them and didn't want to bother anyone to mess with my phone camera.

They are going to hold one every month in 2011 (except January).  Come on out!

THey really need some sort of sign, even a small one.  I drove around the block twice and had to ask one of their neighbors for directions and was nearly late after driving clear from Brookfield!

Those courses look awfully close to the ones they ran the last time.  Which is cool because one could run them with different gear and compare results.  Sorta.

The important thing is that everybody had fun and went home safe.

courses were very similar, perhaps with a bit of tweaking on the issues people had with them the last time. As I recall there were only about 10 shooters this time, split into 2 squads and just jumped from one stage to the next as a squad. I actually prefered the way it was run the last time, but there were allot more shooters and I could feel my fingers so they could run all of the stages at once and the shooters could select which stage to shoot.
I had a blast, and I walked away with three cans of Tactical Bacon (I'll call for a cardiology appt Monday ). It really was a great time, I learned some more (mainly that I need to take my happy ass to the range allot more)

Again, a huge thank you to Black Rifle and CMMG for having us all there and I can't wait till the next time
