WI is being overrun with Chicago libs who want a "country home". Can't you build a wall around Chicago and keep them there? Av. That's not an accident. If you notice they all have brochures that say come to Wisconsin and we'll make it all like Madison, we printed those. One day when all the lefties are behind the cheddar curtain for the world's largest gay pride parade we'll seal the border. Sorry, we can't keep them all here. |

We're spreading the "wealth" --no need to for thanks, every state needs to absorb some city folk...divide and conquer... You guys need to persuade them to move near the Canadian border one summer and get all your northern WI buddies to come down south...then we'll seal them off and they can live in Canada (then they will finally be happy!) Sorry Canada, someone has to get bent over... |

Back on topic....
What is Blago's obsession with "assault weapons"? I mean, I understand our obsession  but why is this guy so anti? Does he know that he is costing himself votes by spewing this kind of rhetoric? Does he know that if he pushes this through, multiple firearms manufacturers will leave, taking their revenue and jobs with them?My guess is he is ignorant and doesn't care about anything but his own agenda. Sorry for the outburst; 2/3 of the way through "Unintended Consequences" and this sounds too familiar. Rant off. M590man

Honestly most people Dem or Rep have got to be like what the Fu@*! Of all the goddamn crime, poverty, fuel and heating costs,health Insurance,job loss, I mean th e list goes on and on in this god forsaken state.And all he can talk about is "We must ban all the guns" I mean come on already. most people, Not us of course have got to be like who gives a shit do someting worthwhile while your in office for christs sake! Blago is under Daley's spell. Chitcago politics is like the mob--it's corrupt, and your in for life.
Most of Chitcago is asleep, or too fuggin stupid to realise what Daley is doing to them. Cameras all over the damn city, anything used to protect yourself has been banned, smoking bans,....awww shit, do i really need to go on. I'm not sure, but i think Topinka supports an AWB. |

I love how folks think Wisconsin is somehow less Liberal than Illinois. Wisconsin is just as Liberal as Illinois, and to make it worse has Illinois envy. Wisconsin is a solid Liberal state and will continue to erode on the level of Illinois. |

I never said it wasn't.
WI has been slipping further and further to the left - however there are a lot of WI folks who keep the blinders on and think we are somehow a conservative state. WI was a blue state in the last election.  We just don't want all the Chicago democrats. We have enough problems of our own. Av. |

I saw this in the evening news. I do agree that wat happened in chicgo a few weeks ago is very tragic and feel very sorry foe the famailies , but what the media don't ever mention is how crime ridden these areas (and just how much drug/prostitution money is floating around) are and how the ak was bought ILLEGALY in Indiana and just happened to get into chicago. I just hope that Blog knowing his governer position will be over for good, might try to pull a fast one to get revenge on all gun owners in Il who won't vote for him and will be one of the main reasons for him being a one term governer.
