There was a "family friendly" drag show in Dallas as part of Pride Week. There were some picketers and confrontations, some of which got some limited national attention

In other news, heading north on 75 on Friday afternoon, there was a group on one of the overpasses inside 635 with a "2000 Mules: Game Over" banner displayed. They or a similar group was out a couple weeks ago, and were trolled by local lefties who displayed a Nazi flag next to the banner, which was then photographed together and publicized. |

Dallas City Council closed meeting Wednesday to discuss City Manager TC Broadnax's continuing employment, or if he will resign to spend more time with his family (complaining about getting fired). Mayor EJ has always need negative on him, but unsure if this is just posturing or more serious.

There's some words you don't see everyday: "armed LGBTQA+ march in uptown"
There was some kind of match in the gayborhood around Oak Lawn at Rawlins in Uptown earlier in the evening, supposedly with weapons displayed. Then 100+ people at Civic Garden downtown. Some confrontations with some kind of church group - DPD keeping them apart, and helo overhead. Seems to have wound down now. Back Saturday 10AM at City Hall, plus at lots of other cities. |
