I called his office in DC today to voice my displeasure with this situation of illegals getting prefered treatment ever citizens. Kept it civil of but still vented somewhat. Its a waste of time but much better than a letter I think.

Lugar's people are watching this right now!

You might end up having the same kind of hunting "accident" that Cheney's little friend had.

It always feels better to rant and rave a bit. I think one of my buddies actually gave him a parking ticket. I wouldn't care if his people are watching or not. What are they gonna do tell him he's got a disgruntled IN resident that's not going to vote for his retarded monkey @$$. Like he cares.

Dead Man Walking!    Two go out...........only one comes back.

Big talk, especially since you know damn well Lugar can't even find Indiana on a map, let alone drive here and kick your ass!

The most compelling tragedy of the Dick-H Lugar situation is that far too many people (who should know better) actually believe he's pro-RKBA because he claims he supports the 2nd Amendment and a person's right to own "a gun."  Obviously that's somewhere between extreme intellectual dishonesty and outright, bold-faced lying, but that's splitting hairs.  Anyway, these people believe because he's 1) a Republican, and 2) he's from Indiana that he's their friend in DC.

All it takes is to pay attention to how the guy votes on legislation for a little while and you can see he's no friend of anyone who believes in the dignity of the individual, liberty, and the Constitutional Republic we used to have.  YET THEY WON'T DO IT and they continue to vote for him!!

Now, I'm pretty much the laziest guy I know.  I'm so lazy my guns are rusty (tnek and some others on here can verify this), but even I know how important my voting choices are.  Even if it's akin to spitting into the wind (like voting against Lugar), the principle is what is important and the duty to vote is sacred.

Most of the districts in Indiana are blessed with excellent Congressmen (obviously NOT Julia Carson), but our senators, both Lugar and Bayh are bad, bad news.  They abuse their power by voting against the will of the people, by voting against what is right and moral, by voting against logic & facts & truth, by voting against the principles and literal content of the Constitution, and then they lie about it to us.  In my opinion, that makes them bad people.  Any yet, there's not a chance in hell either of them (or Carson ) will ever fail to get re-elected.

I'm against term limits on principle, since terms should be limited by the actions of the elected official compared to how well the consituents agree with it.  Unfortunately in the case of Lugar and Bayh, too many Hoosiers have extreme cranial-rectal inversion when they vote.  I'd almost support term limits if it could get rid of them, but there's no guarantee we'd get any better.

Dead man walkin my hide... You know how many people have told me that over the last... 13 years or so? More than I can rattle off the top of my head. Plus I'm goverment property and wasn't old enough to vote in the last election anyways. But I'm looking forward to attempting to figure out what I'm doing this go around. What's the site to register and vote?

And you're right I don't think he could find IN on the map but can his henchmen and campaign staff? Now are they in all honesty going to try and picket the places I live? Highly doubtful. 1 one place I live is in "da hood" and generally scares anyone that's not one of the "homies" or packing heat (lots of police activity there too and next to a church) 2 one of the other places I live has about 8 cops in the neighborhood who have a general disregard for stupidity and violence against their neighbors especially the responsible ones that know where the good fishin holes are. 3 the other place I live is with a US Marine and all we'd do is sit there throw things at them and pick them apart with snide remarks and off color comments.

Maybe I was a little off the mark when I said I wouldn't vote for his retarded monkey @$$. I now know this is completely and totally unprofessional of me. So without further a'do I will revise my statement. What I meant to say is, I will not vote for this outstanding individual that epitomizes almost everything I loathe about politicians and is remenicent of the late Huey Long from Lousiana aka Kingfish. So crooked he made it into my history class lectures, also a senator. I will also strongly encourage anyone and everyone I know in the state of IN to come together for a good old fashioned ousting. Will my efforts be sucessful? No probably not. the question is is there a viable candidate for his replacement ?

No silly, you will be shot in the back from a distance of at least 500 yards.

Damn, you are young.  I have taken craps older than you!  I was born in LA, Lugar ain't no Huey Long or any other generation of the Long family.

Vote third party.  Send the message.  People say you are wasting your vote.  Well, I decided it had to start somewhere, so why not now?  It may take 50 or even 100 years to get a real third party up to strength, but the reality is if a third party only controls 5% of the votes, BOTH parties would have to deal with them.  That gives them power.

Long live Julia Carson!!  Poster child for all that is good in govt and a true inspiration for all slum lords!
