I liked them, until I found out they have a rate of twist of 1:12 in their barrels.

The older ones have 1:7 I believe.

Buy it.  I love mine.  Spare parts are few and far between, but it's built pretty tough.

I've got one and love it!

I replaced my trigger assembly with BM parts to get my five US-made parts to make it legal for the new stock "back in the day."  Currently, I'm trying to figure out how to get my barrel off so that I can get the weird FH removed so that I can put an A2 FH on it.

Shoots well, looks nice, and is quite reliable.  I really like the adjustable gas system... good for some crappy ammo.

i had one back in 1996 or 97.  the rifle was alright but keyholed with a 1/9 (i am about positive it was a 1/9 twist and i bought the gun new) twist barrel with 68 grain black hills soft tip ammo.  i bought it because it used ar15 mags and was cheaper.  i would have rather gotten an ar15 and i finally did bout 5 months later a colt 6700.  if what you really want is an ar15 spend the money cause you will not be happy with less.
