I had Lobo Leather in Colorado make a Threepersons rig for my Model 65 S&W. It has a neutral cant and can be used for cross draw. The strap is removable. I might have been better off with the hammer thong but I'm much more used to a snap.
Threepersons influenced most holsters made today. For a design to last 90 years is saying something.
I'd like to have a left hand SD Myres Threepersons rig for a 3" Chief but I'll settle for my Melvin Tyler rig.
I'm really beginning to like old leather.

You guys don't make them.
El Paso Saddlery does but it's a crap shoot with them and a lot higher than Lobo.
The leather came scarred but that's OK. That is gonna be my knock around holster.
It's gonna have a whole lot more character on it in a few months when deer season kicks off.
My other Model 65 3" round butt is going to be carried in the basket weave BBQ holster.

Ah...BBQ rigs.......

I just saw a beauty go out the door....

It was an oil tanned basketweave belt, steel lined holster for an HK USP .45, double mag pouch, handcuff case, and badge backer for the Canadian County Sheriff.

Don't make doesn't mean can't make.....

Here is a custom holster I made today for a Glock 26.  It's a small of the back, right handed, open palm, hybrid (kydex lined w/ leather sides) that you don't have to undress to put on and take off.

Small of the back with a Glock? That would be a good way to lose an ass cheek!!!!!!

You'll lose a lot more than an asscheek if that Glock  'splodes.

Nice holster... Is there any retention at all without the strap?  I don't know any people with wheelies that have a rig like that.

It's tight without the strap. I wouldn't run or jump without it strapped but it would probably hold without it.
It's a good all around holster for general use.
