Are there any places in Vegas that host regular cruise nights for hot rodders? I used to hang out and do that kind of thing in Cali but I've never heard about any around Vegas.

Animus,

There are several places the hotrodders gather in town. When I worked out at Las Vegas Motor Speedway I was linked in to all the goings on. I'm out of touch now but I can tell you that Vegas has some hot shit cars.

I'm sure someone will post a club or meeting place. I remember going to a restaurant near Nellis and Boulder Highway some years back. Lots of hot cars. I love sheet metal! The new body kits have nothing on the tin work of the old school skilled body guys.

Good to hear. I will snoop around the Speedway a little when I get back since I live close by there anyway. I used to be in a Mustang club and we would gather at the Round Table Pizza off Craig in NLV. I got tired of just being around late model cars. I want a little '41 Willys with a 6-71 action.

They had a Small Mopar show at LVMS last night, (Wednesday) They were set up in the grass, then went for a cruise around the track during half time. I didn't catch the clubs name and it doesn't say on the schedule, but if you call them, (LVMS) they could probably give you some info.

Las Vegas F-Body has a meet every Sunday at the In and Out across from the Palace Station at about 7PM. It is a Camaro club but the local Mustang and Corvette clubs show up too. My wife has had five or six Camaros and she is an active member. See ya there, Ronzo

I've had a few friends in the F-body club but I am looking for a place for hot rods. Once my '66 Mustang is done I have plans for a Ford Anglia hot rod. New cars don't impress me anymore really.

The Las Vegas Cruisin Association has a Website at www.LasVegasCarShow.com We do cruise nights at several different locations every month. This month Aug 17th there will be a good show at Bass Pro Shop at 6pm to 9pm. Great fun. Lots of cars and you can look at Guns too.

cant recall , first or 2nd Sat of the month , Sonic in Henderson usually has a gathering of rods and muscle cars.
