I am about to buy a gun off the internet and haven’t done the process before.. What are the normal prices for transfer fees??

I have bought most of my guns through Keith’s in Gresham, and he quoted me at 35 dollars to have the gun transferred to him.. Is that a normal fee?

I have worked out a deal with Pete(ar15sales.com).. Getting a RRA entry tactical with chrome lined barrel, and CAA stock, and detachable tactical handle for 899$ shipped to fll.

Thanks

That's actually on the good side of average, from what I've found, especially from a place like Keith's where they're more into selling you something off the shelf. Most of the FFL's around here in Central OR have gone to a percentage-based fee.

Normal price for me is 20$ from a guy I know.

Also know of another who does it for 20$, but these contacts are in Albany and Corvallis.

I usually refuse to pay anything above 25.

I've used 99 Pawn before. They charge $25 (incl background check)  and have been good people to work with.  (503) 653-7831 BSW

I use "A Cut Above Pawn" in Beaverton and they charge me $20 for the transfer & background check.  Ask for Dave and he will hook you up.
