This is something that I'm better off not knowing..
This has been my view up until now. I think during 2011 though I'm going to keep track of all my shooting related expenses from gun purchases, ammo, training, hotels, gas, etc.
I'm afraid that knowing will perhaps curb my spending in hopes of saving money for something else, Witch in a round about way equates to less shooting.. we wouldn't wanna do that now would we...?
It won't cause me to shoot any less, maybe it will make me invest in ways to cut my expenses which might make it so I can shoot more! I've been thinking about getting rid of my pickup and getting a small car that gets excellent gas mileage, it would be nice on the long trips to only have to fill up once or twice.
I got rid of my dodge 2500 three years ago ( sorta, I crashed it
) but with the money I got back from the insurance I bought a 97 jeep Cherokee sport, Its goes everywhere my truck went, gets twice the gas mileage, insurance is half as much, and no payment
... The biggest bonus is you don't get that "hey you got a truck would you mind helping with this? or that?... Iv been dept free for 3 years now, and there is no way I'm going back.. After thinking about what you said, it dose sorta make since to keep track, as long as any of the money you save goes back into it, and not my oldladys shoe account
