I am a sworn certified Deputy Sheriff in NC.  I have family in SC and travel frequently there. Just for clarification, am I permitted to carry a concealed weapon in SC?  I carry the weapon I am currently qualified with and always have my departmental ID with me. I visited the SLED website but had trouble finding the restrictions on concealed carry. Can someone help me? I hope to relocate there in a couple years.

Thank you

HR218 is the correct bill also known as the LEOSA (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act)
You will be fine. Only two states known for potential problems are Obamas home state of Illinois and the Cuomo's communist state of NY
