Hey guys....I will be home from Iraq on the 23rd, it is my full intention to visit the Market Hall show.....is anyone planning on being there?

I would love to hook up with you guys and share some lunch and refreshing beverages.....all this assuming that there is a show on the 3rd or 4th of January (I thought I read somewhere that those were the dates).....

Sure, no problem. Actually, I think he's looking a next year's schedule. I'll see if I can dig it up. There's a website that lists the schedule of all the local gunshows. Not sure of the link.

Edited to add: Yep, looks like there's a show the weekend of Jan 3/4 2004.

Sorry, spent a year in an Artic warfare unit including living in an ice cave for a week in the Italian Alps. Much prefer the creature comforts this time of year.

Well, I was thinking about getting there sometime after 10:00, then going to lunch with the gathered faithful, then walking off my lunch at the show after that.

Sounds like a plan to me.

So, do we meet as usual? In front of Danny's table(yellow sign that says Danny's Guns) at our normal time of 12:30 pm on Saturday?

Hmm, on the end closer to Global Trades or the end towards Model 1?

Sounds good to me.

Hello all. FNG here. I'll be making the drive up from Waco on Saturday morning with hopes to purchase an M-4 kit to keep my Rock River lower company. This will be my first AR.

Suggestions on which vendors to visit at the show? If I'm not successful, I plan to order a kit from J&T on Monday.

Sounds good. Do you know how to get to Big Sapper's house?

If not, Big Sapper needs to IM me some directions.

John has this posted on his Industry forum:
DPMS post-ban M4 upper, 16" 1:7 chromed lined barrel, includes charging handle,
and Cavalry Comp premanently installed, no bayonet lug.

www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=2&f=131&t=140829

He will probably have some at the show.

PS: I believe John knows how to remove the comp properly in case the ban sunsets...

My current client just informed me that his database server is down. I'm on call to restore/recover his database. That won't happen until he gets a hardware/network person in to troubleshoot what happened and repair the problem. My guess is I'll get a call sometime tomorrow morning-ish.

Recruit_Killer, give me a call. I IM'd my phone number to you. Or you can get it off the contact list.

Nope, we had a Thompson to sell. We thought about coming after we got it sold, but figured the party was probably over by then.

Keep an eye out for a future post by me, concerning a gathering.

Great meeting you. If you get that gig, let us know so we can have a get together before you "deploy".
