SATURDAY December 11th.

Probably started around 4-5ish. BYOB. There is a grill and there will be some finger foods, but .. I highly recommend you bring some snacks, potluck, whatever.

As for a gift exchange. Who knows? Who cares?

Wanna do a gift exchange, organize it.

It's in Plano, which suxs for the Ft. Worth people. Sorry about that. But, there can be two, and this doesn't mean you can't have one as well.

This is not a drill.

Awesome, Stef and I will be there, we'll grab some brats on the way to toss on the grill.

I'll take the lead the gift exchange, because everyone loves stuff but people are generally lazy fucks and then no one will get stuff.

Bring something, make sure it's at least somewhat wrapped. No one ever pays attention to things like maximum prices anyways so theres no point in having one, but it should at least appear to have cost $10 or more.
No homemade coupons, I'm sure someone will take this opportunity to immediately start thinking of devious homemade coupons they can make to be rebels, so with 5 days lead time it had better be pretty goddamned clever.
It will be a white elephant/stealing type gift exchange, except there will be some rules that no one has ever heard before and likely don't make sense. Also, sitting in a circle of chairs delicately plucking gifts out of others hands is for nancyboys and old ladies, so the probability of feats of strength, stupid riddles, or competitions involving dart/bb/blowguns being poorly integrated into the rules is pretty damned high.

If this sounds like a terrible and unsafe idea, bring a gift. If your wife/boyfriend/wife's boyfriend is coming with you, you should probably make sure she brings a gift too - do you really want to have to sit there and pretend to be happy that your wife just stole some stupid pedicure thing that no one else wants while staring at some awesome whizbang shit that you /totally/ could have had instead? Fuck no.

I've already bought some airsoft stuff for the competitions, I'll get nice and drunk tonight or tomorrow and finish writing the rules then. So far, the only thing concrete is that there will be no 'stealing' of gifts, but instead you must issue a challenge and compete for the right to swap for the losers prize.

If anyone has a ridiculous, silly, or incredibly unsafe idea for a competition, PM me.
