Does any know where I can get some cheap .223 in the valley.  I need some to take a friend of mine from Maryland shooting.  I would just get it off the net like I usually do, but I need it this week.  I also don't want any wolf or other russian ammo (heard to many stories).  Any good ideas?

Wallyworld has the 40 round Bulk Winchester 55 grn FMJ white box stuff that is not too bad, price isn't too bad either. I have shot like 400 rounds of the stuff through my M16 with no problems. I'll be getting more of it soon for the next shoot.

Yup that Winchester is about all there is locally. Most shops dont even stock 1k of a single brand of .223, how sad...

Don’t ask me, I always buy from out of state.

I’m waiting for September when 2,700rd tubs of SA come back to Sportsmans and G & G sales.

How does a big Arizona group buy from J & G in September sound?

I would rather do a group buy with Ammoman, as J&G has a past record of rolling over to the feds, just like FAC.

best deal on ammo is miwall at the gunshows with the fed XM193 for $86/500.

$115/500 is the normal price to find the fed XM193.

There are a few stores that will have 5-10k rounds available at any given time.

the armory has the Fed / American Eagle 223 in stock and the XM193 as well.

MGKelly's usually has S&B 223 in case quantities.
