I'll likely be wearing my black AR15.com shirt (the one that JAFO put together a couple years back).

3 more days. Us guys wanting ammo should plan to meet up. Maybe we can get a better price with several people purchasing at the same time? So, how about it? Who wants to meet up and buy a shit ton of ammo with me?

***ETA  There's 5 people counting me that said they're looking for ammo. If we all get it from the same guy, we should be able to get a good deal. For the record, I want SS109/M855.

Fortunately I only live about 15 minutes drive from Metrolina Fairgrounds where the show is held.  I need some more of DPH's Polish PMKMS kits (if available), and some 5.56 and 7.62x39.  I have heard that here has been a shortage of milsurp ammo.  I hope the guys at this show have plenty.  I'll be there when they open the doors with my hand truck!

I will be wearing a hat that says Geological Resources, Inc.  Hope to see some of you there.

i will be there(more than likely on sat.)......i don't know what i will be wearing but i will be carrying this AR:

look for me around there...i will have it with me as i am trying to fit a part to it and just also am wanting to show it to a friend that will be set up there who wants to see it......if you see me, please come up and say hi and who you are.....i would love to meet some of you guys.....

another give away that it is in fact me is to look for the number "128-R" in white on each side of my buttstock and a "Goofie, from Disney," sticker on the right side of the butt as well....she is now wearing these 2 distinctmarkings....

Georgia Arms usually has some canned heat with them but they do sell out sometimes.

I will be there , center isle at far end of main building with friends who run Freedom Enterprises.

Everyone stop by and introduce yourselves & say Hi. The long hair and tattoos make it easy enough to spot me.

I'll most likely be going on saturday, I'd like to jump on into pool of people going for ammo, looking for some 8mm, 7.62x39, 7.62x54, and .223, and 12 guage. Where are u guys meeting?

We need to figure out who's going on which day. I'll be there Saturday for sure and want/need 5.56. Who wants to meet up Saturday for some bulk purchase power?

***ETA The easiest place to meet is probably the picnick tables in between the buildings.

I'll be there sat at 1000. I need to see if the funds will allow for some decent ammo purchases, I am also really low on 5.56 as well as 7.62x54r.

Two buildings open and full. Picked up ammo and a few small parts. Struck out on finding a used barrel for my 870.

All of the AR and ammo tables were busy. The dudes selling everything else looked lonely, kind of like girls at a dance waiting for someone to ask them out onto the floor.

The best deals I saw was a guy selling luggage and range bags down on the right side of building one. Naturally I didn't see him until after I bought a crappy range bag for six bucks more han his nice ones. Such is my life.

I wandered around in bldg 1 wondering where all the ammo was.  It was in building 3.

Other ppl on this board say they cant find 7.62x39 anymore.  I found a guy who had brought 25 (1000 rnd) cases of some Russian stuff called Tiger.  Selling for $100, when I bought mine he had like 5 cases left at noon.  I'm sure its all gone now.

He had 2 kinds of .308 milsurp.

M855 and some other 5.56.

Lots of 8x57 and other stuff.

A couple other folks in that building had milsurp 7.62x39; one on stripper clips in spam cans for like $130 for 12XX rnds i think?  And someone else had cases of like 990 rnds for a little over 100 bucks.

The guy selling scratch and dent gun cases had some real deals if you needed one.  I came really close.

I also bought some Victoronix kitchen knives

[#35]
J&C in building 3 has Radway Green SS109 for $30 per bandolier of 150 rounds on stripper clips. I got 3 for $85. Also, 900 rounds in an ammo can (w/bandoliers & strippers) is $175 posted, but probably a little less for cash. That was the best price for M855.

Thnaks for the info. Sounds like its not worth the trip. I'll save the gas money and hand around here.

I'm glad I'm old enough to remember the days when there were actually good gun shows. You young whipper snappers that think some of these shows are good would have had a woody over the shows 15 or 20 years ago. Wall to wall guns, ammo, surplus and vendors that were actually interested in making deals.

I went to my first gun show 15 years ago, as soon as I turned 18. I bought a Mossberg 12 gauge pump. It was the first gun I bought by myself. Since then, I've kind of lost count.

Just got back.  I'm guessing this was the "slow" show of the year.  Weren't alot of customers or vendors there and I didn't see too much that interested me.  In fact, I thnk I spent less than an hour there.

Picked up 1,500 rounds of 5.56 from georgia Arms and 2 Badger ord tac latches and a Kilflash from Del-Ton.

Oh, and why doesn't anyone carry tan handgaurds for an AR?  They have everything else excelt those.

South African 7.62 (1,260 rounds) for $199.  Georgia Arms 5.56 for $160 per thousand in ammo cans. Yugo 7.62X39 (1,260 rounds) for $139.  I got one lot of each.  Pretty good deals.  The Wolf 7.62X39 is still missing.

DPH had some beautiful PMKMS kits that were parkerized.  $269.  I had to pass on those.

Also picked up a M-14 sling and cleaning kit for $26.00.  Pretty good show in my opinion.  There will be another one the second week of December.  Just in time to do my Christmas shopping.

i went to the show on sat.    was there from around 11am til they closed the doors at 5pm......had a buddy of mine with me that was looking for any good deal he could find.....i went for one purpose, to buy a Tango Down vertical foregrip and a right handed sure grip Ergo Grip.....found them both within the first 5 mins. at Del Ton's table.....picked them both up for a hell of a deal.....a big thumbs up to the folks at Del Ton as they have been very good to me everytime i have bought parts from them, great prices and extremely friendly and helpful all in one package.....show was pretty good in my opinion.....found some stuff that struck my interests.....
