When is the next air show around Charlotte? I heard there will be a person flying a restored P51 Mustang that you can ride in for 750 bucks for a half hour.

I can't help you with the Charlotte show, but the Seymour Johnson Air show is November 7. It's in Goldsboro so that might be farther than you want to drive.

Check this out. You can search by state. Airshows.org
The airshow season is pretty much over by early November. They'll start having a lot of them again in the spring.

Take a look at this page, too. It is an aircraft museum at Charlotte-Douglas airport. They have events from time to time and their exhibits are open all the time. You can even join and volunteer your time, if you like. CHAC

I will have to look into the the museam that they are building. I can run some phone lines for them. But I will have to talk to my friend again to verify more about the chance to ride in the P51 Mustang.
