I have been having a blast so far on this trip. I'm up at Devils Tower right now at the KOA near the base of the mountain. We spent a couple nights up in the Snowy Range in the southern part of Wyoming, then started north up to Douglas for the night, and then on to Devils Tower. Tomorrow we are heading for the Big Horns, so I thought I would share some of the pics that I have uploaded so far while I have a Internet connection.

Everybody is having a good time. The weather has been typical Wyoming weather; sunny most of the day then thunderstorms in the afternoon. Today was a beautiful day with no rain, but hot as hell.

Well HERE are some pics I have taken so far of our trip, more will follow as I can get a network connection, and when I get back into Cheyenne I'm going to upload the rest of the few hundred I have taken.

EDIT: Updated from Thermopolis, Wyoming.

Where ya going in the Big Horns, we have been there several times.

Buffalo has the Jim Gatchel museum that's superb along with lots of historic indian wars stuff.

Superb pictures

Ya have a camper of some kind or are ya tent camping, we always did the tent thing. Buffalo has a nice KOA we stayed at & the girls wanted to sleep in the tee pee instead of the tent. They had fun, even if the bugs were out that night

Was open carrying the Govt 1911 and a Canadian couple out at the Wagon Box battle site (now houses are almost around it, back then there was nothing there at all) about had a cow till the wife (who is from Canada) explained to em that it's ok, I'm an American and likes guns

Another update from Thermopolis Wyoming. It feels good to take a real shower. Added pics from the southern end of the Big Horns. We stayed at Sitting Bull NF Campground for 3 nights.

We have a hybrid travel trailer (Hard Shell with fold down bunks). 23' But with bunks unfolded it is 30'. It a nice little trailer, has AC, fridge/freezer, bathroom with shower, kitchen, etc. Pretty much everything a full blown trailer has, except the bunks fold out which saves floor space. Wife and I on one bunk, oldest son on another, his friend from Jersey on another, and my youngest on the fold out couch. Still have plenty of room to walk from one end to the other, and still use the kitchen table.

I've been CC'ing my XD9SC everywhere except at Mount Rushmore, and the Devils Tower trail.

Not sure where our next stop will be.
