No radio station, and I mean NO radio station beats KLOS.

Get the rental car, an 07 Mustang GT-H (I had reserved just the regular Mustang), the guy working the counter gave it to me for the same price.

Get in the car and turn on the radio - tune to 95.5 KLOS and what do I hear?
The Yardbirds - Over Under Sideways Down.

Lordy, you could fiddle-fuck the radio dial in the Seattle area for years and never hear The Yardbirds.

I went to a friends house to have a couple of beers and catch up on some good times and he turns on KLOS and it's Jim Ladd's turn at the mic.

Lord-almighty, the only thing better would be listening to KMET.

94.7 KMET. They were good. I loved KLOS especially in the early 80's when Frazer Smith was on. That guy cracked my ass up. Good stuff. Started listening to KROQ and 91X out of "Baja Califronia-Mejico" when at San Diego State. Thanks for the flashback!

I just got in from San Diego last night from a week long family vacation. 1st trip to SoCal for us. We saw:
San Diego Zoo +1 awesome place
Tijuana +1 cheap booze and pushy vendors with shantys full of crap
Cruising the Midway, old schooners and a Soviet attack sub BIG +1
Walking with the kids while prostitutes are openly working and people are actively doing drugs -1

Beautiful place, we should help our Cali Arfcom brethren retake it and put 99% of it's residents on a barge in the Pacific

Sorry, no can do. We'll put the barge in the bays created by the mass nukings needed to retake the state. Then we'll put some barbwire and walls around the bays.
