I thought the price wasn't determined yet? They said they would be basing the price on "market Value." I honestly hope they price them a bit higher with a yearly limit of 3 so more people can get them instead of people looking to flip them at a gunshow.

This is awesome news!  M1 Carbines have always been on my to-buy-list.  This is what my Grandfather carried in WWII and Korea.

I recall someone in a previous post refer another member to someone who could get them hooked up with their gun club CMP requirement.  Could someone point me in that direction.  I'd like to have all my ducks in a row when the rifles go up for sale.

No doubt that'll be a 'must' purchase.  I was told DAV membership or a C&R FFL would qualify instead of a Club Membership with a shooting club.  Fortunately, I have all 3.  They said it may be sooner than March 1st, we'll see.  Quantity & prices are yet to be determined.

Hopefully, they'll be along the same $$$ as the Garands

Fees: $30 + postage x's 2 (one set to ATF, one set to local sheriff) The good thing is the sheriff does not have to approve/deny the FFL, you are just informing him that you are applying to the ATF for one.

It is really simple. Sarco has a very informative link on their website and it is what I used.
