Does surrender = revocation, or after the expiration of the order requiring surrender expires can you get your chl back?

ETA:  If you are NOT convicted of any felonies or misdemeanor domestic assault.

Was not convicted, do I just go back to the clerk of the court that I surrendered to and ask for it back nicely?
