Walmart at 620/183 had quite a few boxes of this stuff in stock. I got their last 45acp at $9.47/50 tho.

brass cased. Anyone know if it's any good?

I've shot some of their brass cased and had no trouble.  I actually enjoy their AL cased 147 gr 9mm as well.  It's quiet through my Trident.

On another thought, is .47 or .57 a closeout price? Does walmart do that sort of thing?

I was bummed they didn't have any 9mm or more 45.

Cheapest 9mm still seems to be monarch at academy. Need to go check on that too.

I think most retail stores use a price ending with 3 or 7 for closeouts. So it sounds like you got the last of it. Not too long ago Academy had WWB 9mm for $5.99. I think it was last month. Haven't checked in a while.

neither the .45 @ 9.47 or the .40 @7.57 are closeout prices. The Wally's i get mine from are continueing to stock/recieve. Not all Wallmarts have the same pricing.

I am concerned that Sept 1st this will change

I hit a second wallyworld and they had same ammo for same prices. Lots of stock of cheap .40 and .45, I love it.

that's fine. Maybe we should start a thread with "dibs" on certain stores. we would get the rights to first refusal on any .40 and .45 at those stores...

OK ... I know that won't work...

I've shot a few hundred rounds of it and never had a problem. maybe a little dirtier than WWB, but hell its good enough.
