So - in the worst weather N Texas had for the last 25 years, our power, gas, & water stayed on the whole time.
Today, a beautiful sunny spring day in February, the very reason our ancestors moved to Texas, the power goes out.

Most I've done sitting for about an hour is 4. Used my .270 Weatherby Mag and killed them from my tower blind. It was cold and drizzling. Those dumb ass hogs kept walking out of the brush. Closest was about 60yrds and the farthest was about 200. I was so happy until I realized that shot about 18 bucks worth of ammo in those four shots. Love the WbyMag....hate the price in ammo. That gun is now sitting in the safe while cheaper guns to feed are used. |
