For rifles, the ranges are 50, 75 and 100 yard. Paper targets ONLY. All targets must have cardboard backers (backers are available at the range house). NO RAPID FIRE, HIP SHOTS, OFF HAND SHOTS OR PRONE POSITION SHOTS. You must use the benches.

Why no off hand or prone shots?

My guess is it's to reduce the possibility of a stray round going high beyond the berm and into populated areas. An additional reason is that there is a separate range there where you CAN shoot free hand (The Plinking Range). They keep an environment on the rifle range that's somewhat low-key, that's best for zeroing or precision shooting.
