man my new department director here at work, came in this morning and told me that " this could be the easiest job I ever had", provided I adopted the don't look don't see type of attitude, said that our previous director had become too much of an "enforcer" and thats not what our dept. was about, I was told that we are only here to "observe and report", not to enforce any of the policies, thats the dept. directors responsibility, of course he fired 3 chicks that worked in the office cause the gov./general mgr. wanted them to change the policy on releasing personal info, they told him they couldn't do that cause it was illegal, so he had them fired, got that feeling it might be time for me to abandoned ship before this one goes up in flames and I get burned with it.

of course 25k a year with full  benifits is kind of hard to leave, when all I got to do is show up and put in the time, I walk around and talk and bs with customers and employees and play on the comp, other than that I have nothing to do, like I said boredom.

L, I worked for a large state agency where all types of BS happened.
If you know your boss is a rotten one, just watch your backside.
Boredom in a job is better than being bored without one.

It's time for you to upgrade your body armor to something that will stop a knife in your back.

well I knew when I started working in the tribal casino buisiness that theres alot of sneaky shit that goes on, and since the tribes are sovergn nations, the state can't do anything to them, and it has to be very serious in nature to get the feds involved, so the chicks that got fired have no one to complain to, they can get a lawyer and take the tribe to court for wrongful termination, but it'd have to go through tribal court, and the judge is employed by the tribe, so you know where their case would end up, so I pretty much came to the conclusion last night that I'm going to camp out in my office and do a bit of surfing and smoke a bunch of cigerettes, then when I get tired of that, I'll go out on the floor and make time with the beer girls and drink all the free soft drinks I can, then head back to my office and start over, figure I can walk around and draw a pay check and cheap insurance as long as they keep giving it to me, as long as no one gives me any grief, but like acman said, I'm gonna have to shit can my tinfoil for something more substancial, course I've known most of these people I work with a long time and they know what goes around comes around, and I plan on being governor of the tribe within the next ten years, so if they do anything to me, I will get even and I can wait a lifetime if need be.

with all this new found free time, I can think of all kinds of senerios thats going to take place, one is that this place is going to go tits up by the first of the year, judging by the daily head count and avg. spent per person, we're only making money on two days a week, and thats not enough to cover the monthly over head, but at least this is something to put on my resume, if anything I can always go back to carring a gun for a living, hell just that thought makes some people that know me nervous.

suspect my post count will increase in the coming days.
