Anyone recommend a body shop in Hudson or southern Bergen Co.?  Banged up my Honda Fit and will be paying out of pocket for the repairs.

Thanks,

Adam's auto body in South Hackensack
125 Saddle River Ave, Garfield, NJ 07026

Ask for Steve, and tell him that Sean from Ford Of Englewood recommended him.

He'll do the right thing for you.

You anywhere near the Bullet Hole?  I know of a good shop 10 minutes away.

Bullet Hole is really close to where the car is parked now, which body shop?  Not sure I should drive as far as Garfield but may try that, too.

It's very close, practically on the same street.

Go down the street that the Bullet Hole is on and cross the bridge into North Arlington.  Stay on that street, it's called the Belleville Turnpike.  Go up the hill to Schuyler Ave and make a left.  Right there on the corner is a CVS and the body shop is right behind it.

It's called RIck's Auto Body Shop, I've used them a lot because they deal directly with New Jersey Manufacturers (my insurance company).  Very good work and honest.

Not "dead".  Most of the left front fender is accordioned, as is the hood.  Head light is out so driving at night is out of the question, but the engine compartment seems intact and there is no fluid leakage.

... so yeah, I'll drive the thing during daylight hours.

ETA Nice thing about the Pulaski construction is that NJDOT towed me off 1&9 truck right damn quick (at no charge to boot).

Ah, so the tow truck probably towed you up Route 7 right past the CVS and body shop that I mentioned.

L_D I asked about a body shop, not a physical therapist or a mortician -- yeah, I'm cool :-)  Thanks for asking.

For more details: I accelerated too quickly while merging.  Distracted by looking into the next lane & in the sun, I turned forward to find out traffic stopped moving.  Couldn't brake in time, but turned as far right as I could.  My left front corner got under the other guy's right rear bumper.  Kinda wish I rubbed into the jersey barrier, probably would have been less overall damage.
