Yeah I saw on NY1 news this morning that sellers at gun shows in Arizona were still able to sell, and I QUOTE: "high-powered semi-automatic assault pistols" to people who said they could not pass a background check.

Can't Bloomy and his straw buyers(since they're working for him) be charged with criminal syndicalism?

I'm no lawyer but they have not only broken both federal law and state law, but also tied to advocate by unlawful means the subversion of the second amendment of the constitution!

Imagine that! The nerve of someone who cannot legally buy a gun because he's a criminal, trying to find someone that'll sell him one....In this State it doesn't take much of a charge/conviction to loose your gun rights.

Here's a glimpse of the bigger picture: By making lots of petty or minor charges a dis-qualifier for gun ownership you reduce the number of gun owners, and elicit greater control over the populace; both are advantages for those seeking to maintain dominance.

I'm not suggesting that commission of a crime is not a reason for prior restraint, as certainly there must be recompense for crimes, only that some punishment goes too far in the wrong direction.

They were private "undercover investigators" and according to the report
produced an AZ driver license to establish they were AZ residents. The
seller(s) should have refused the sale(s) when the investigator(s)
stated that he "probably couldn't pass a background check".

NO - On Fox News tonight they said the "dealers" were part-timers and not required to do background checks.

I assume this means they were NOT FFLs but people doing private person to person sales at the gunshow.

Apparently Arizona does not restrict private sales in any way even at GUNSHOWS.

While it's slightly detrimental, and clearly faced with the situation described I WOULD REFUSE THE SALE, I'm going to play Devils advocate here:
There are people that are declined during a NICS check that should not be, some that just don't know that they are ineligible, and some that worry that they might be, but aren't sure why.
Example: "I got busted for some weed when I was 18, but the Judge said I could still own a gun"
"I was in a fight with my then girlfriend and someone called the cops and they arrested me, but nothing happened"
"I got a third (felony) DWI about ten years ago, and a lawyer got it reduced to DWAI."
When you make an arbitrary statement, there's going to be an arbitrary response. Licensed Dealers are required to play by a whole different set of rules. Private sellers do not fall under the many of the same laws, it's dependant on their ethics; of course some people severely lack, others put on airs about them, and a precious few actually have them.
Clearly what the "investigators"  shills in AZ are trying to do is create the damning evidence their client is paying them for....Same Circus, different clowns.

For the report to be truthful it would have been nice to see how many people declined the purchase before the one scumbag made the sale.

You cannot sell to someone in Arizona in a person to person sell, knowingly to a individual prohibited by law from owning a firearm. Why do they re-elect him in New York City? He is inspiring people right now in AZ to contact legislators to pass a law banning his sting operations and such activities by LE from other states that arent Federal. So I guess something good may come from it all.

Again, it comes down to illegal activity and the use of subversive tactics to accomplish them:
Example: I'm in AZ on vacation for a week, pick up the local paper and see an ad for a gun that I like, quickly figure out it's local enough, call the guy and ask to meet him somewhere netural where the purchase can be made. Now right there I've broken the law because I'm not a AZ resident and I'm trying to buy a gun from a non-dealer (dealer would be OK with a NICS check) the "seller" may or may not be savvy, or ask questions about where I live, or if I'm a felon or anything else that should throw up a red flag. being a friendy and charming gentleman the seller is likely to think I'm a safe sale and let it go.  Point is that those intent on obtaining their end result will take necessary measures to achieve those results.

I believe the Southeastern States slimed by Bloombutt took Legislative measures making it a crime for dickheads to pull the same stunt in their jurisdictions again.....A private investigator is not above the law just because he was hired by someone in Office. We would not tolerate this from the LEO community or its leaders, yet my money says they all get a pass and collect $200.

Because we have ton of liberal dumbass they suck the life out of the state of NY due to the free hand outs etc. The US needs to open the 51st state and send all the liberal dumbasses to it. I bet it would be just a well fare state.

Being truthful would not fit into Bloombergs anti-gun agenda.

At least that levels things up. Even Texas has Austin.

Exactly!

We "provincials in the sticks" would at least have a chance without all the jerrymandering that goes with NYC politics.

Lets just say the BLUE cities upstate will feel like NED BEATTY!

In 2010 "upstate" NY elected Schumer, Gillebrand and Cuomo in a landslide without NYC and the "downstate" counties.

LETS SPLIT IT LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!

We can call the two new states the following:

RED (wich should actually be the other way around... I think the LIBS should take RED as they mostly ARE REDS!)
But Red on the map will be know as West New Hampshire or West Vermont.

And the BLUE shaded areas would be BLOOMYFORNIA!
