Taken off the NSSF Website:
Firearms Industry Responds to
Bloomberg's Latest Anti-Gun Efforts
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, once again distorting the facts about legislation protecting law enforcement, unveiled a Web ad Thursday calling for repeal of the Tiahrt Amendment. The amendment restricts access of firearms tracing data to the general public, protecting the integrity of ongoing investigations and law enforcement officers. Bloomberg, however, is intent on obtaining the data for use in preparing civil lawsuits, as evidenced by his "sting" operations last spring that interfered with as many as 18 ongoing criminal investigations. Bloomberg's latest anti-gun efforts are sponsored by his "Mayors Against Illegal Guns" coalition. A 30-second version of the ad will soon air in Washington and selected Congressional districts.

I am SURE glad I don't live under that dick's area of responsibility.

I want to know how he was allowed to initiate ANY investigations outside NYC and how he was allowed to select a 'special master' to oversee anything related to it?

Something very fishy there.... methinks I'll send a letter to our legislators asking that very thing.

This should be in the General Forum, and a fire mission commenced to ATF and people's repective congresscritters.
