Hey guys, was wondering if any of you all that shoot these matches could give me some info.  I would like to shoot in the rime fire class to start but I am not sure what gear I need? Below is what I will be shooting.

Ruger 22/45
S&w m&p 15-22
Mossberg 500

What else do I need, does steel match draw from holster?  Are mag Holsters needed?  Do they have a beginner class anytime to just learn the rules or practice?

Thanks!

I'm not so sure rimfire is going to work well at the steel matches at Black Creek.  We shoot a mixture of falling and static steel and our falling steel is calibrated to 9mm so I don't think rimfire will knock them down.  99% of the shooters shoot pistols of 9mm or larger caliber.  We do have a couple that shoot pistol caliber carbines.  We do draw from holsters and the more mags the better.  Rules are loosely based on USPSA rules.  Beginners are welcome all the time.  The RO's along with most of the regulars do a great job of helping out new shooters.
