I'm looking for a case in Bham where a guy was open carrying in his own yard while mowing the grass and he was shot by Bham PD? I seem to remember someone telling me about this or reading about this. Anyone ever heard of this or know where I should look for the case?

Someone told me a story about it a couple of years ago. I can't remember who. I think it must just be a "story" and nothing else.
I guess thats how urban legends get started.

i vaguely remember it from a couple of years ago, some crazy dude was in his yard with a knife, cops show up, he gets lippy, they dropped him. i forget exactly which neighborhood, guy had a history of mental illness and family scremed he had never hurt anyone so they should have let him stab them.

iirc, happened in his moms house, DV call, he was good boy and the cops should have all jumped him instead of shooting a man armed with a knife. There was also a case of BPD shooting a crazy guy armed with a knife in an alley. Now there was a case of a guy cutting his grass, some punks jumped him and killed him with baseball bats several years ago. |
