I live in Wayne county so what's the best prices places got around here?

Gander Mountain has been running sales on the 100rnd packs of Federal Tactical over the past couple of months. I think I bought a few for $30, which is the cheapest I've seen it in a long time.

If you don't mind the whole "online" thing........it's much cheaper than most places here in the peoples republic of Michiganistan. If you must go to a brick and mortar - wait for the Cabelas sales and/or Dunhams sales, they seem to be cheapest IMHO. However, if it isn't on sale, Cabelas is pretty high on prices.

That sale will be back on. Watch your newspapers and when you see it, go early and often to get some. It sells out incredibly fast. I'm talking tens of thousands of rounds out the door in a day or two.

Gander Mountain has Federal Tactical 5.56 , 55 grain FMJ on sale $30 per 100 rounds. The head stamps are (Lake City) LC 10
Update, my mistake, The ammo that gander mountain has is 223 not 5.56. The 5.56 x 45mm ammo was on sale at Dunhams last weekend for $64 for 200 hundred rounds, looked like a good deal so I picked up a couple of thousand rounds. Anyway the 223 ammo at gander mountain is a good deal IMHO
