Anyone know a good spot to get one of these?

$289 + 9 NICS at kieths. thats where I got mine. Expensive, but i had a rifle i wanted to get rid of.
So I traded the rifle towards it and got screwed twice at once!

but, 30 bux for the p22 adapter and im hush hush.

Sportsman's did have some when I went there to get my Buckmark -- wasn't tempted after holding one (too much plastic).

I got one a few years back at Sportsman's Warehouse for $250 (long barrel version). Got the short barrel from Walther for about $70, and a thread adapter from Tac Innovations for around $30.

I'm going BuckMark or Ruger... perhaps Tac.Sol. w/Ruger I just don't know which way to go yet.

Tracker's BM was very nice and if I could get the same deal he got, I'd be on it.

MGKAC556's was awesome... but cost much more cash and effort.

I haven't heard many great things about the P22 (nor fired one yet).

I have one and it's a ton of fun (now that it's working), but it 's wearing out at an alarming rate.

The big problem with Ruger is that put the S/N on the barrel, so if you want a Tactical Solutions barrel for it you end up having to go through an FFL, and add his fees to the cost.

That was the principal reason I chose a Buckmark over a Ruger 22/45 -- people with the Buckmark/Tac. Sol combination seem very happy -- as much so as people with thr Ruger base.

If you don't have one or the other, consider the total cost of both solutions.

I am leaning towards the BM first and perhaps get a TS upper for it later. I already have a Ruger .22 now but it's a special run so model so I don't want to thread the bbl (for a can). Don't mind putting a threaded TS upper on it from time to time but for the cost of the upper, I could have another pistole (BM)... but then have to spend extra money on the BM for mags.

Probably going to get a BM and just bite the bullet and buy lots-o-mags.... and then pony up for a TS upper for it later.

Like I mentioned in an earlier thread, wish someone would have put together a GB for some of this shit as it seems we're all interested in it in some fashion or degree.
