try ky imports or knob creek. KY imports - $269 Bushmaster complete lowers w/ A2 stock. I doubt you'll find any steals around here...

Thanks I was in KY imports last week.  I thought $269 was a little high, I don't mind putting it together  myself.

KYimports also has forged recivers that are not hesse, I have used one and they are just fine , I belive dolphon or somthing like that is the name. They are about 100 bucks. Most any gun store will order exactly what you want.

I met a guy from Lebanon KY this weekend at the Lexington fun show. He has those Carbon Fiber Lowers that you see in Shotgun News. Supposed to be 5 times stronger than aluminum (hmmm) and about 20-30 bucks cheaper.  I have his card if anyone is interested. He seemed willing to deal so I wonder if he would give a bulk buy price.

$269 for a complete lower is probably the best you are going to find locally. I think Knob Creek has the same price on theirs.

If there's enought interest, a local group buy might be in order.

well from centerfire (yeah I know its lexington)

the stripped lower parts kits (stock and lpk) are $120 (seems a bit high to add just for the stock)
just the lower parts kits are $60

you can get the chinese made shorty collapsible stock for like $40 bucks or you could find an A2 stock on the EE for like 20 or less.

Their lowers are $110.

The carbon fibers could be had realistically I think for $80.

doing some work, you can probably assemble from the carbon fiber and other parts for $160 plus shipping or gas.

Glad to hear it, I have bought a couple there as well. Good people to deal with although their inventory kinda sucks.

If anyone is interested in the carbon fiber setup (upper, lower or both). This guy below has them in KY.  Seemed to be a nice guy too.

only problem with ordering small parts from JT is the $9 minimum shipping.
One of their guys told me at a gun show that if I wanted to pick them up locally he was in lexington and could drop them off for me at one of the stores there.

Keisler's just across the river has some. Don't remember the prices though, but seemed to be resonable.

Their web site is down and frankly never looked like much, but it is a really nice larger store that has a lot of inventory.

It's definately worth checking out.

Kieslers has a good showroom but the one time that I wanted to get something there, it was a hassle..for whatever reason..because I live in KY and they are in Indiana.  So I passed on buying it.
