OK. Now.... I have two AR's. Both are configured for shooting with a scope, although I do have a detatchable rear carry handle sight and forend sights that have not been fitted. which makes open sight shooting a no-no at this stage, so I'll have use a scope (I have an ACOG which I suppose would be the closes to open sight I can get) Problem is, If I can get down to the shoot, will I be able to participate and find out more about Highpower? I've mainly shot Practical/CSR so I am a Highpower virgin. Since there is bugger all Highpower rifle shot up north I have to admit I'm pretty clueless about what it involves. Anyone got any advice....? |
Come along and find out, we have a class for scoped rifles although an ACOG is not the best choice as it's a combat optic not a precision scope. All you need is 110 rounds, you'll get a good zero if nothing else as all the shots are marked back with spotting discs.
It involves shooting
Bring gun and ammo and 2 mags |
Sounds favourable...... there's a good chance I'll be there......unless some sort of unforseen cock up occurs. |
Can't....you don't have gravy in any of your chippys Life without fish, chips and gravy is simply unthinkable. And the beer is cold, weak and expensive down there. £1.35 a pint up here. Besides, on my wages I can barely afford the diesel to come down and visit, let alone buy an 'ouse. What little money I have belongs to streetfighter....he keeps sending bits of AR's that I didn't know I needed. |
Blimey.....you must be a long way up... |
Missed out on Beckingham as I had jus got back from Spain and was at my sisters 40th bash somewhere darn sarf, where the beer was almost £4 a pint and a double VAT was £6. Thank fu*k for northern prices.............................only £1.25 for a a pint of wife beater in the RBL |
