Well guys, it's been fun, but I've decided to go legit.
Tomorrow at 3:00 PM, when the shadow of a cloud passes over the sun and the remaining single men amongst you feel a momentary chill through your very soul, that is when I will become a married man.
For my last day of freedom, I took my father and nephews to Olustee and we burned through a few thousand rounds of rifle and pistol ammo. Now, I am going to shower up, run all the last-minute wedding errands, and then head to the hotel. The next time I post, I will be a married man!
Update:
Well, I'm back, and I'm married. So far, married life rocks, except for the fact that I caught a cold the day after I got back from the honeymoon. Fortunately, I was of sound body and mind throughout the trip. We went to Yosemite National Park, which is absolutely beautiful. It is so heart-achingly beautiful that it is nearly impossible to take a bad picture. I don't have any pictures from the wedding yet, but here's a few from the honeymoon:
The happy couple, John & Kaytrina
For those who might be wondering, Yosemite is freaking cold for Floridians in November.
One of many magnificent views from Tunnel View. El Capitan is to the right. Bridalveil Falls can be seen in the center.
Half Dome.
Also taken from Tunnel View, just after sunset. El Cap & Half Dome
The upper & lower Yosemite Falls as seen from a stream.
Half Dome from that same stream.
One of an innumerable amount of beautiful views, from the same stream.
The historic Ahwahnee hotel was much smaller then we originally thought...
