BLM Land Nearest to LA?

[ARCHIVED THREAD] - BLM Land Nearest to LA?

Hello, where I am now there is no Sheriff's station nearby I can visit for a map and I didn't see any shooting land on the BLM website (the closest I see is hunting?). So can someone tell me where is the closest BLM land that allows shooting from LA? Thanks.

A few miles north of Mojave on the 14. Turn left at Jawbone Station into Jawbone Canyon. Lots of shooting areas.

North of Victorville and south of Barstow is the Iron Mountain area just to the northwest of the 15.

The Moreno Valley BLM office administers that area.

Be careful if you go shooting at Jawbone Cyn., there's alot of four wheelers and dirtbike riders there.

Yes there are. If you shoot into the box canyons on the left, you'll be fine.
