I was just at BJ's and was told gas is going to $4.00/gal and maybe $5.00.

The guys who run the place were talking about it and thinking of getting guns to protect themselves.

I told them it was a good idea because I will be the first beating their ass if they don't allow me to have free gas.......

Today I went to my local gas station and all the regular gas was "Sold out" I think is all BS. They are waiting for the price increase, to make extra profit.

In the mean time I had to buy the more expensive gas. Asswipes!

You have not seen anything yet. Katrina has and Rita will cut into the home heating oil/diesel refining cycle as this is the time that they would be going full tilt for the cold weather. Home heating oil will be going through the roof and high diesel prices will mean higher consumer prices on just about everything. BOHICA!

I've been around, usually I keep my Im off. I'll turn the thing on, just for you.
Are those books hitting you back? lol
This gas and oil crap is getting me sick. Can't even go to the range unless I have at least $60.00 just for gas. It sucks!

My wife has a 118 mile roundtrip commute. I feel your pain. With gas and tolls, a round trip (290 miles) to Calverton would cost me around $90 and then add $30 in ranges fees. Sunset Hill, where I usually go, is a 152 mile round trip. I have only been to the range once this year.

Grabs popcorn. This I gotta see...

Trust me I am sure If I start to lose the other customers will jump in......LOL

Yea....My heating oil bill is what I am concerned about also. I have a 1000gal tank that gets filled every2 to 3 months. It gets about 765gals and I could not even get a lock in price from Lewis. I get 30 cents off whatever the price will be.
I tried 3 other places and even a co-op but no one is doing any better.

I am thinking of having a fireplace put in and have a box fitted to it so I don't lose heat.

Fireplaces are pretty but still, most of the heat will go up the chimney. A woodburning stove is far more efficient.

Glad we locked in at $2.19/gal We got in the past from rising fuel oil prices. I did hate writing that$1200 check for oil in July though. Glad our house is small

i just paid 2.79

There is a special container that goes into the fireplace. It makes sure all the heat doesn't go up in smoke. A regular fireplace will only heat about 4 or 5 feet in the room. With this container it acts like a oven and heats most of the house.

My friend in VAlley Stream has one and tells me it is very efficent
