Applied for Ammunition manufacturing FFL and the check was cashed yesterday, so by past experience I would give it an eta of June or July.

So, sometime in the near future Virginia shooters will have a supply of .223 and 308 ammunition, Also I will offer match grade ammo and hunting hand loads.

As long as your local zoning is OK, you shouldn't have a problem.

Once you get your license, shoot me an email, I have several 5 gallon buckets of brass that I thought I would have time to reload but never did.

Cleaning my A4gery as we speak, getting it ready for some some MK262 clone ammo.

L-R-T loads our .338 LM and with 300gr Sierra MatchKings HPBT has shot .5" at 200yds, and we didn't even the the worshipped 'barrel breakin' on this rifle.  Did do it on the .50 and will be loading some soon.  I want to load some 750gr AMAX loads and try them at 1000yds at Quantico.

He's getting a special bench that is low enough that he can use it from a wheelchair.  All profit from the ammunition manufacturing is going towards paying 'Miss Betty' to push him around the house.

Here is the irony about zoning in my area, they refused to sign off for my 01 transfer to the house due to density in my area since I hand to have files and office as you know, they told me if I could not have an office they would approve it.

The same man approved my other FFL since I told him no foot traffic or office in the house, he sighed off and said thanks for going thru the legal process.

So to do this I will have to either meet the folks off the property or ship to them, I cannot explain the zoning any better since it is confusing as Chinese mathematics.

That brass would get you deep discounts as long as it is clean and not deformed.

Dillon 1050 that will be here some time at the end of april, I am having Dillon set the dies for specific bullets and loads. Said and done I will have 7 sets of  dies for just .223 and .308.

All the match loads will be one at a time on the RCBS press that I load the .338 .308 and 50bmg on, all the hand loads wil be done with match dies.

Here's some feedback on L-R-Ts loads.  This was his 55gr Ballistip Tip (TAP replica)

9x19 shot this group at 25yds, 30 rounds into roughly 1/2" or less from her M4gery.  This was at the NRA Range off their wobbly ass tables.  Need to try off their better non-moving bench.

Well, it's a Savage 10FP-LE, that also happens to be a pre Accu-Trigger model. They must have
changed over right after this one was made. It's still in the box, and I still haven't picked up a base,
rings or optic for it. (I think that the trigger is a bit rough, which I've heard is a Savage trait. Can you
touch that up, or know a good man to point me to?)

I did some computer work for a guy, and he offered it to me in lieu of cash payment. For what I had
done, I felt like I was ripping him off, and told him so, but he said that it was just taking up space,
and that I'd make better use of it than he. I wasn't going to argue too much!

Roger that

So how did it do?

The green tip were 150 grain TAP clones and the BTHP 175 grain was loaded for 1000 yards.

Please post the results since I need input for everyone even if it looks like buckshot.

150's were just over 2.5".  The 175's were a little wider (3.5" but my barrel is a 1 in 12 and not ???? fast/slow???? enough for 175's.  It likes the 125-165 range.  Though out of a 6 lb rifle the 175's left an impression

Also take note that I should have taken a more stable target holder.  I shot at Hite Hollow and the wind was up causing havoc on the fence and wire.  So I would not hold much weight with those results.  I know both the rifle and myself are up for better.    I also shot some of my ADI which I know will hold sub MOA and it was a 2" group as well.

Bad shooting day+high wind+ wobbling target holder= INCONCLUSIVE results.  I will not put the blame on these loads under these conditions.

Knew it was something.  Just couldn't remember which way it went.  The rifle in question was my Win 70 Lightweight carbine.  The only adjustments it has had in the last 20 years was to float the barrel and adjust the trigger down to 2.5-3 lbs.  Some of my handloads are three shot touching groups with 125's and 150's at 100 yards.  For an out of the box gun, I cannot complain.
