Well, it's about a 12 hour drive, but if you're buying I'll be there.

Sounds like fun! Unfortunatly, my schedule -w- wife/kid/work/school generally preclude going out like I used to.

What's the occasion? Any reason why the 8th ?

I would love to have dinner but as luck would have it my boss is in from San Jose (8 - 10th) and I must entertain.

I hope to meet you guys soon and maybe get together for some cocktails during a Happy AR-Hour somewhere.

That would be perfect. It's not as crowded there as the other locations - by a long shot. I'll see if the family can make it - and I don't really expect you to pay either.

But like DP said - it's your gig, you call the time and place. Do it quick, though, cause it's TOMORROW.

Ummmh. Tex-Mex. But oh, what Tex-Max it is.

Too bad I endorsed the 183 location. I meant the one on Lamar (never crowded).

w00t! I will be there! DVD, you'll dig the place, IIRC, they have some good fajitas and their 'ritas aren't too bad.

Let me put this to rest right now - I don't want to see anyone reaching for their wallet or trying to pay for dinner. I'm buying and that's final!

Now you are talk'n like a TEXAN. Put the smack down on 'em!

Hey, it was good seeing everybody again, and meeting a couple of you I hadn't met before! Pete, thanks for dinner, and once again, WELCOME TO THE FREE STATE OF TEXAS!! I hope the Austin crew will have a bit more cohesiveness in the future, as there should be plenty of shooting related stuff that we can all get to from time to time.

If ya need any help with anything, just ask, we'll help in any way we can!

See y'all guys again soon!

Let me echo Matthew_Qs post. Pete, thanks so much for dinner. It was great to get together with you, and to finally meet your wife. Y'all are definitely Good People. Let's do it again soon (although next time, you ain't payin')!

Same here - thanks a bunch to DVDTracker and MrsDVDTracker for putting up with us and then footing the bill to boot! MrsZhukov apologizes for bugging out early, but the kids had to be put in bed...

DVDTracker and MrsDVDTracker,

Thank you so much for dinner last night! Ya'll certainly didn't have to feed us, we ALREADY liked you from the start! Kalifornication messed up when they chased you folks off, and we are HONORED that you chose to move to Austin. If you folks need ANYTHING please give me a shout. We moved here about 5 years ago and we didn't know the area or a SOUL, so I understand how you and especially your wife may feel very isolated from family and old friends. I (we) can't make up for family and old friends, but NEW friends are the next best thing...

Thanks again for a fine meal!
