Quick question or comments from you experts. When I went to the range yesterday in Snoqualmie it was around 88 degrees. I just had my 20" Bushie HBAR contoured to the government profile and it seemed like after 30 rounds the SOB had heated up 3 times faster than normal. Even my 16" HBAR heated up pretty quick.  Shot about 4 mags through each (couple of double taps, but pretty much just slow steady target practice) Took FOREVER for them to cool down. Now for the STUPID QUESTION......did yesterdays heat here "REALLY" make that much of a difference in the cool down time? (guns were in the shade)

It's just 20 degrees or so above our usual temps. I doubt it. Down in Texas, they probably never get that cool in the summer.

I'm going to rip apart the old fridge in the garage and make a barrel cooler out of it.  I'll give a range report and build instructions when I'm done.
