That is an excellent idea – class time and some live fire time.  I don’t know if you are already planning this but it would be a good idea to let people zero their rifles and let them determine what their holdovers are from 0-400 yards.  I see more new shooters struggle on the long range stage than any other stage.  This is a tall order for such a short time period.  This would also be a good opportunity for non first timers to get some free advice from more experienced shooters.
