This is an alumni handgun class, so you just need to have taken any of the Defensive Edge handgun classes. They are half-day classes that cover specific topics. Generally you need a defensive handgun, holster, at least 2 reloads (spare magazines or speedloaders) and at least 300 rounds of ammunition. |

I still haven't dropped any money on a decent holster, but maybe I will find something at the show or at Streichers or the Gun Stop... |

Thanks for the offer, but I do have holsters. They all suck, but they wil hold the gun safely for a range session.

I've been trying to work on doing a few sit-ups each morning before I shower & get ready for work. Mostly I've been working on making my biceps/triceps a little more tangible than their present nothingness by lifting a few weights and doing push-ups. -inuhbad. |

The Alumni Fundamentals training session is on for Saturday. Ther will not be a Handgun-1 Class on Sunday due to a rifle match happening where they will be shooting into our corner of the range from the south.

What would one bring for "tactical rainwear"? Seriously, as the weather has taken a tick in the rainy direction is there any suggestions on specific rainwear? And how muddy is the range going to be? Need the hip waders?

Goretex non-insulated snow pants and boots for me. Otherwise stuff you don't plan on getting muddy. I'm not too taticool yet, but a hell of a lot better than being wet.
